What is PPC (Pay Per Click)?

PPC stands for "Pay-Per-Click" and is a type of online advertising model where advertisers pay a fee each time one of their ads is clicked by a user. This model is commonly used in search engine advertising, social media advertising, and other forms of online advertising.

In a PPC campaign, advertisers create ads and bid on specific keywords or phrases that they want to trigger their ads. When a user types in those keywords or phrases, the search engine or social media platform displays the ads that have the highest bids and are most relevant to the user's search.

PPC advertising can be highly targeted and effective because advertisers can choose specific demographics, geographic locations, and even specific times of day to display their ads. However, it can also be competitive and expensive, as advertisers are bidding against each other for the same keywords or audiences.
